Adding a little bit of fun and life to the boring and dull streets through art is truly interesting. Here comes Pierrot, an amazing street graffiti artist who creates magnificent scenes on streets.

His 3D illusions are awesome! They look like they’re about to jump off the wall. They are 1000% realistic. Trust me and scroll down the before and after images of the places that Pierrot transformed using his works of art.

Pierrot’s passion for drawing made him start his own company where he paints and does artwork for people. He writes on his website, “Passionate about drawing, I founded my decoration company GrafoDeco. Addressing both individuals and professionals (public or private companies), event organizers, associations, or all those who are anxious to bring a touch of originality to their interior or exterior decorations. I paint all supports (walls, panels, canvases …) and of all sizes.”

Pierrot isn’t a person who studies in any art schools or any other institute. He was just an ordinary person who started work just as other artists on the streets. He was keen on learning new things from other artists. Once in an interview, Pierrot said that he was inspired to draw by one of his friends at school.

Pierrot’s interactive, creative illusions are incredible! He does what most of us can’t even think of. It seems like Pierrot has a lot of experience in understanding perspective, light, and many other things. Pierrot’s works are supreme examples to prove that street art is not mere vandalism, but an amazing technical form of art.

The mode of presentation of his works too is wonderful. The interactive presentation of his work has made the people more attracted, thus all of them love taking fun pics with all the animals and characters in Pierrot’s arts which makes the arts and the artist go viral.

According to Pierrot, the goal of his street art is to make people laugh and escape the loads of stress in them by looking at his paintings. He had started vandal graffiti since 2001 along with one of his school mates.

Another special feature is that Pierrot never repeats his work over time. He always tries to create new and interesting art. Though he uses the same animal in his portraits, he does that in different ways.

Pierrot does not have a particular theme or topics for his art. And also he does not try to convey a specific message through them. Instead, he just wants to keep his work funny and childish.

When observed well, you too might realize that his style is mostly cartoon-like 3D and the reason behind this is that he is a cartoon lover.

Pierrot shares how an artist needs to choose what to draw, “It also depends on the moment. I watch a movie or a cartoon and an idea comes to me. I also come up with ideas by looking at the wall I’m about to work on. The idea comes to me because the general shape of the wall is different (angles or wall superposition). I try to change the main subject of my art often. I don’t want to get stuck doing the same thing over and over again.”

The beginning of his 3D graffiti art runs back to 5, 6 years but the beginning of painting runs 20 years back. Pierrot hopes to continue his work even when he’s old with a long white beard, even when the young ones call him ‘the old fool of the village’.

Pierrot also said his story of inspiration, “My friends and traveling motivate me to always be more detailed and complicated. I challenge myself constantly. I am never very happy with the final result of my paintings, so I always try to do better every time, when possible.”

The artist’s reply when we asked if people have ever got upset at his graffiti was, “No, people mostly like it, or just don’t care. I live in a village in the northeast of France. People do not look too much at graffiti and are not always fond of art.”

Artist is a humble character and he advised the new artists to practice drawing without watching social media and networks. “Paint, Paint, Paint again and again! Paint for fun, don’t be money minded at the beginning itself. Make it your passion not the profession.”

“I’m a simple person and I paint almost everyday. Painting is my pleasure. I find abandoned places and find ideas on painting them. And also, I do breakdancing and a lot of kinds of sports. However, I do less now as it hurts everywhere over time as I’m getting old,” said the artist.

Here’s Pierrot’s message for the readers: “Keep your youthful soul alive, don’t be too serious and rigid in life. Remember when you were 10 years old and the world seemed like magic. This is my life philosophy and above all, be curious about everything.”
